Bernoulli's principle
when you blow in a bag from outside the bag, the bag inflates quicker than if you put your lips against the bag and blow it up like a balloon.
because increase in speed, results in a decrease in pressure. so surrounding air is sucked in.
this applies to fluids and ventilation.

- cooker hood
- uses Bernoulli’s principle to create a low pressure zone under the cooker hood, which results in the air under the hood being sucked outside.
