casting vs bluetooth

  • if you stream music over bluetooth to a speaker. any sound on your device will transfer
  • if you cast the sound to a speaker, you can use your device with other sound meanwhile. e.g. message notification pings wont play on the speaker.

miracast is session based, similar to bluetooth
